The collapse of the real estate market are some of the reasons that many people are being left homeless. Have originated millions of foreclosures. The American dream has become a nightmare. I said the first thing you should do is go to the bank and get a loan, so we will need your taxes, pay stubs, check your credit, a down payment etc, etc, and they said they asked many requirements, that a man they "would help" to buy a home without a penny and payments would be fabulous, the most fabulous was when your loan is adjusted (up payment) they had no idea that this would happen, could not continue to provide payments and called me for help. The other person who helped them anymore answered the phone, they almost lost their house to make a long story short, I could help and stop the auction (Forclosure) until they realized then that I was right. I cried with my customers to see that they stay on the street and have to go to rent again, no day I do not talk to someone who is in trouble, I go wherever the subject is Real Estate, is incredible the number of people were left cheated by unscrupulous people and all for naive, not asking, not to find someone that really help them, sometimes do not know if I am a Real Estate Broker or a psychologist, should seek people who really help you and be honest with you, sometimes we do not like to hear the truth, but buying a house is not anything, is the most expensive investment of your life, your estate, home for their children, do not leave that anyone would warm the ear and smile while you earn a commission and then not want anything from you, make sure that person is licensed with the Department of Real Estate (DRE). SHORT SALES
When the lender is willing to accept being paid less than you owe to avoid the high costs of an auction.
